\u00c8 stato presentato il primo rilascio della nuova edizione non ufficiale di Ubuntu Linux \u2013 Rolling Rhino Remix, che implementa un modello di consegna continua degli aggiornamenti (rilascio rolling). Per l'installazione degli aggiornamenti \u00e8 disponibile un'utilit\u00e0 separata chiamata rhino, che funge da wrapper per l'installazione degli aggiornamenti, sostituendo i comandi \u00abapt update\u00bb e \u00abapt upgrade\u00bb. L'utilit\u00e0 viene anche utilizzata per la configurazione iniziale dei repository nel file \/etc\/apt\/sources.list dopo l'installazione.
