Per la distribuzione Ubuntu 22.04, il cui rilascio \u00e8 previsto per il 21 aprile, \u00e8 stato preparato un repository PPA con il modulo qtwayland nel quale sono stati trasferiti i fix dalla branca Qt 5.15.3, supportata dal progetto KDE, riguardanti il miglioramento del supporto al protocollo Wayland. Il pacchetto include anche le modifiche necessarie per il corretto funzionamento di qtwayland sui sistemi con driver proprietari NVIDIA. <\/p>\n

Inoltre, \u00e8 prevista l'introduzione del pacchetto proposto in Debian, dopo di che sar\u00e0 ufficialmente integrato in Ubuntu e nelle distribuzioni derivate. Ricordiamo che, dopo il limite imposto da Qt Company all'accesso al repository con il codice sorgente di Qt 5.15, il progetto KDE ha assunto la responsabilit\u00e0 della manutenzione delle patch pubbliche per questa branca.
