\u00c8 stato presentato il progetto PyScript, che consente di integrare nelle pagine web gestori scritti in Python e di creare applicazioni web interattive in Python. Le applicazioni hanno accesso al DOM e a un'interfaccia per l'interazione bidirezionale con gli oggetti JavaScript. La logica di sviluppo delle applicazioni web rimane invariata, mentre le differenze consistono nella possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare Python al posto di JavaScript. A differenza del progetto Brython, che compila il codice Python in JavaScript, PyScript utilizza Pyodide \u2014 una porta di CPython eseguita lato browser, compilata in WebAssembly, per eseguire il codice Python. L'uso di Pyodide consente di ottenere la piena compatibilit\u00e0 con Python 3 e di sfruttare tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 del linguaggio e delle librerie, incluse quelle per calcoli scientifici come numpy, pandas e scikit-learn. PyScript fornisce un'interfaccia per integrare il codice Python con JavaScript, inserire codice nelle pagine web, importare moduli, gestire input\/output e risolvere altre attivit\u00e0 correlate.
