Multipass estrae autonomamente l'immagine del sistema operativo necessaria e la mantiene aggiornata. Per la configurazione pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato cloud-init. \u00c8 prevista la possibilit\u00e0 di montare le partizioni apparecchiature nel ambiente virtuale (comando \u00abmultipass mount\u00bb), cos\u00ec come di trasferire singoli file tra il sistema host e la macchina virtuale (comando \u00abmultipass transfer\u00bb). \u00c8 supportata l'integrazione completa della macchina virtuale installata con il desktop principale (vengono aggiunti le icone delle applicazioni, il menu di sistema e le notifiche). <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di autenticazione del cliente per eseguire multipass con un utente non privilegiato. Per la piattaforma macOS \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per la sospensione delle macchine virtuali e la possibilit\u00e0 di avviare un mini-cloud locale (collegamento degli ambienti virtuali avviati con le interfacce di rete del sistema host per organizzare l'accesso a macchine virtuali<\/a> reti esterne). \u00c8 stata fornita la possibilit\u00e0 di eseguire Ubuntu 22.04 su macOS e Windows.
