Il contenuto dei siti viene memorizzato in una rete P2P sui computer dei visitatori e verificato tramite la firma digitale del proprietario. Il fork creato \u00e8 mirato a mantenere la rete, aumentare la sicurezza, passare alla moderazione degli utenti (l'attuale sistema non funziona, poich\u00e9 \"i proprietari dei siti\" scompaiono regolarmente) e, in futuro, a un passaggio fluido verso una nuova rete, sicura e veloce.    <\/p>\n<p>Modifiche chiave rispetto all'ultima versione ufficiale di ZeroNet (l'originale sviluppatore \u00e8 scomparso, non lasciando raccomandazioni o manutentori):  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per tor onion v3.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiornamento della documentazione.\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per hashlib moderno.\n<li class=\"l\"> Disabilitazione degli aggiornamenti non sicuri tramite rete.\n<li class=\"l\"> Modifiche volte a migliorare la sicurezza.\n<li class=\"l\"> Assenza di build binarie (sono un ulteriore vettore di attacco finch\u00e9 non saranno implementate build ripetibili).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nuovi tracker attivi.  <\/ul>\n<p>Nel prossimo futuro \u2013 liberare il progetto dalla dipendenza dal servizio centralizzato zeroid, aumentare le prestazioni, migliorare l'audit del codice e creare nuove API sicure.
