Costantino Komarov, fondatore e CEO di Paragon Software, ha proposto di includere il primo aggiornamento correttivo del driver ntfs3 nel kernel Linux 5.19. Da quando il ntfs3 \u00e8 stato incluso nel kernel 5.15 lo scorso ottobre, il driver non \u00e8 stato aggiornato e si \u00e8 persa la comunicazione con gli sviluppatori, il che ha portato a discussioni sulla necessit\u00e0 di classificare il codice NTFS3 come abbandonato («orphaned») prima di rimuovere il driver dal kernel. <\/p>\n

Ora gli sviluppatori hanno ripreso la pubblicazione delle modifiche e hanno raggruppato una serie di correzioni accumulate. Inizialmente, le patch sono state aggiunte e testate nel ramo linux-next.
