\u00c8 stata pubblicata la versione desktop-oriented della distribuzione GhostBSD 22.06.15, basata su FreeBSD 13.1-STABLE, che offre l'ambiente desktop MATE. Di default, GhostBSD utilizza il file system ZFS. Supporta sia il funzionamento in modalit\u00e0 Live che l'installazione su disco rigido (viene utilizzato un proprio installer ginstall, scritto in Python). Le immagini di avvio sono state create per l'architettura x86_64 (2,7 GB). <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata automatizzata l'installazione del corretto driver NVIDIA all'avvio in modalit\u00e0 Live. Nell'utilit\u00e0 di aggiornamento Update Station \u00e8 stata garantita la reinstallazione del pacchetto nel caso in cui il tentativo di aggiornamento non sia andato a buon fine. Nel kernel GENERIC \u00e8 stata inclusa la configurazione BWN_GPL_PHY per la compilazione di driver contenenti codice sotto licenza GPLv2. \u00c8 stato garantito il riconoscimento della maggior parte dei dispositivi basati su chip Broadcom, inclusi gli iMac. Il sistema di base \u00e8 stato aggiornato alla branch FreeBSD 13.1-STABLE alla data del 31 maggio.
