Non \u00e8 ancora chiaro se il problema possa portare all'esecuzione di codice da parte dell'attaccante e alla fuga di dati dalla memoria del processo, o se si limiti solamente a un arresto anomalo.     <\/p>\n<p>La vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifesta nella versione di OpenSSL 3.0.4, pubblicata il 21 giugno, ed \u00e8 causata da una correzione errata di un bug nel codice, che potrebbe consentire di sovrascrivere o leggere fino a 8192 byte di dati al di fuori del buffer allocato. L'exploitation della vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 possibile solo su sistemi x86_64 che supportano le istruzioni AVX512.     <\/p>\n<p>Le varianti di OpenSSL come BoringSSL e LibreSSL, cos\u00ec come il ramo OpenSSL 1.1.1, non sono affette dal problema. La correzione \u00e8 attualmente disponibile solo come patch. Nello scenario peggiore, il problema potrebbe rivelarsi pi\u00f9 pericoloso della vulnerabilit\u00e0 Heartbleed, ma il livello di minaccia \u00e8 mitigato dal fatto che la vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifesta solo con la versione OpenSSL 3.0.4, mentre molte distribuzioni continuano a fornire per default il ramo 1.1.1 o non hanno ancora creato aggiornamenti dei pacchetti con la versione 3.0.4.<br
