Google ha pubblicato una versione del sistema operativo Rocky Linux, presentata come la soluzione ufficiale per gli utenti che utilizzavano CentOS 8 su Google Cloud, ma si sono trovati a dover migrare verso un'altra distribuzione a causa della fine precoce del supporto di CentOS 8 da parte di Red Hat. <\/p>\n

Sono stati resi disponibili due immagini di sistema per il download: una normale e una ottimizzata specificatamente per raggiungere le massime prestazioni di rete nell'ambiente di Compute Engine. Per gli utenti di Rocky Linux su Google Cloud \u00e8 ora disponibile anche supporto commerciale, fornito in collaborazione con Ctrl IQ, che sostiene lo sviluppo di Rocky Linux ed \u00e8 stata fondata dal creatore del progetto.
