Lo sviluppo del firmware avviene in un linguaggio di programmazione appositamente progettato, simile al C, che consente di creare rapidamente programmi per i microcontrollori. Il codice dell'interfaccia dell'ambiente di sviluppo \u00e8 scritto in TypeScript (JavaScript tipizzato), mentre il backend \u00e8 realizzato in Go. I codici sorgente sono distribuiti con licenza AGPLv3. Sono stati preparati pacchetti pronti per Linux, Windows e macOS.      <\/p>\n<p>Il ramo Arduino IDE 2.x \u00e8 un progetto completamente nuovo, senza sovrapposizioni di codice con Arduino IDE 1.x. Come base, Arduino IDE 2.0 utilizza l'editor di codice Eclipse Theia, e l'app desktop \u00e8 costruita utilizzando la piattaforma Electron (Arduino IDE 1.x \u00e8 scritto in Java). La logica relativa alla compilazione, al debug e al caricamento dei firmware \u00e8 stata separata in un processo in background chiamato arduino-cli. Si \u00e8 tentato di mantenere l'interfaccia nella forma familiare per gli utenti, modernizzandola allo stesso tempo. Gli utenti di Arduino 1.x hanno la possibilit\u00e0 di aggiornare al nuovo ramo con la conversione delle schede e delle librerie esistenti.        <\/p>\n<p>Tra le modifiche pi\u00f9 significative per l'utente:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Interfaccia pi\u00f9 veloce, reattiva e con un design moderno con pi\u00f9 modalit\u00e0 di visualizzazione delle informazioni.\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per il completamento automatico dell'immissione dei nomi di funzioni e variabili tenendo conto del codice esistente e delle librerie collegate. Informazioni sugli errori durante la digitazione. Sui sistemi in cui non \u00e8 installato Arduino IDE 2 \u00e8 disponibile la possibilit\u00e0 di modificare il codice tramite l'interfaccia web Arduino Web Editor, che supporta anche la modalit\u00e0 offline.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nuovi gestori di schede e librerie.\n<li class=\"l\"> Integrazione con Git.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sistema di monitoraggio della porta seriale (Serial Monitor).\n<li class=\"l\">
