\u00c8 stato rilasciato il Bluetooth stack open source BlueZ 5.47, utilizzato nelle distribuzioni Linux e Chrome OS. Il rilascio \u00e8 notevole per l'implementazione iniziale del profilo BAP (Basic Audio Profile), che fa parte dello standard LE Audio (Low Energy Audio) e definisce le possibilit\u00e0 di gestione della consegna dei flussi audio per i dispositivi che utilizzano Bluetooth LE (Low Energy). <\/p>\n

Viene supportata la ricezione e la trasmissione audio in modalit\u00e0 normale e multicast. A livello audio server<\/a> il supporto BAP \u00e8 stato incluso nella versione PipeWire 0.3.59 e pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato dal lato del dispositivo master o periferico per la trasmissione bidirezionale dei flussi audio, codificati utilizzando il codec LC3 (Low Complexity Communication Codec). <\/p>\n

Inoltre, in BlueZ 5.66 nell'implementazione del profilo Bluetooth Mesh \u00e8 stato aggiunto il supporto per i codici di gestione MGMT (Management opcode), utilizzati per organizzare la cooperazione con un controller principale del processo in background del bluetooth e un nuovo gestore mesh, che consente il funzionamento di una rete mesh in cui un determinato dispositivo pu\u00f2 essere collegato al sistema attuale tramite una catena di connessioni attraverso dispositivi adiacenti. Nella nuova versione sono stati inoltre corretti bug nei gestori A2DP, GATT e HOG.
