Gli sviluppatori di Debian hanno annunciato il passaggio di Debian 12 alla fase di soft freeze del database dei pacchetti, durante la quale non verranno accettati nuovi pacchetti sorgente e sar\u00e0 chiusa la possibilit\u00e0 di reinserire pacchetti precedentemente rimossi. <\/p>\n

Il freeze rigido \u00e8 programmato per il 12 marzo 2023, momento in cui il processo di trasferimento dei pacchetti chiave e dei pacchetti senza autopkgtests da unstable a testing sar\u00e0 completamente fermato e inizier\u00e0 una fase di intensivo testing e risoluzione dei problemi critici per il rilascio. Questa fase di freeze rigido \u00e8 introdotta per la prima volta ed \u00e8 vista come un passo intermedio necessario prima del freeze totale che coprir\u00e0 tutti i pacchetti.
