\u00c8 stata rilasciata la rete anonima I2P 2.2.0 e il client C++ i2pd 2.47.0. I2P \u00e8 una rete distribuita multilivello che opera sopra il normale internet, utilizzando attivamente la crittografia end-to-end, garantendo anonimato e isolamento. La rete \u00e8 costruita in modalit\u00e0 P2P e si forma grazie alle risorse (banda) fornite dagli utenti della rete, consentendo di fare a meno di server gestiti centralmente (le comunicazioni all'interno della rete si basano sull'uso di tunnel crittografati unidirezionali tra il partecipante e i peer). <\/p>\n

In rete I2P \u00e8 possibile creare siti web e blog in modo anonimo, inviare messaggi istantanei e email, scambiare file e organizzare reti P2P. Per costruire e utilizzare reti anonime per applicazioni client-server (siti, chat) e P2P (scambio di file, criptovalute), si utilizzano i client I2P. Il client I2P di base \u00e8 scritto in Java e pu\u00f2 funzionare su un'ampia gamma di piattaforme, come Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris e cos\u00ec via.
