Dall'uscita della versione 8.4, sono stati risolti 21 rapporti di bug e apportate 361 modifiche.       <\/p>\n<p>Le modifiche pi\u00f9 importanti:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il supporto per la configurazione del tema scuro in WinRT.\n<li class=\"l\"> Il pacchetto vkd3d con l'implementazione di Direct3D 12, che funziona tramite traduzione delle chiamate nell'API grafica Vulkan, \u00e8 stato aggiornato alla versione 1.7.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel compilatore IDL \u00e8 stato migliorato l'output delle informazioni sugli errori.\n<li class=\"l\"> In WoW64, il layer per eseguire programmi a 32 bit su Windows a 64 bit, \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per la chiave di registro HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.\n<li class=\"l\"> Migliorato il supporto per IME (Input Method Editors).\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono stati chiusi i report di bug legati al funzionamento dei giochi: Deus Ex: Invisible War 1.2, Fair Strike, Bible Black La Noche de Walpurgis, Sins of the Solar Empire Rebellion, Ultimate Race Pro.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono stati chiusi i report di bug relativi al funzionamento delle applicazioni: Notepad++ 7.6.3, VARA FM, Treecomp, LibreVR Revive, LDAP Explorer.    <\/ul>\n<p>Inoltre, si pu\u00f2 citare la formazione del rilascio del progetto Wine Staging 8.5, nell'ambito del quale vengono create versioni estese di Wine, che includono patch non completamente pronte o rischiose, attualmente non idonee per l'integrazione nel ramo principale di Wine. Rispetto a Wine, in Wine Staging sono forniti 537 patch aggiuntive.    <\/p>\n<p>Nel nuovo rilascio di Wine Staging \u00e8 stata effettuata la sincronizzazione con la base di codice di Wine 8.5. E' stato rimosso lo script patchinstall.sh, al quale \u00e8 stato sostituito l'uso di staging\/patchinstall.py per l'installazione delle patch. Una patch per supportare il mappatura dei caratteri di controllo in dinput \u00e8 stata trasferita nel principale insieme a Wine. Sono state aggiunte nuove patch che risolvono problemi di avvio di Diablo IV e di installazione degli aggiornamenti di battle.net.
