\u00c8 stato rilasciato Rakudo 2023.04, il compilatore per il linguaggio di programmazione Raku (ex Perl 6). Il progetto \u00e8 stato rinominato da Perl 6 poich\u00e9 non \u00e8 diventato il seguito di Perl 5, come inizialmente previsto, ma si \u00e8 trasformato in un linguaggio di programmazione separato, non compatibile con Perl 5 a livello di codice sorgente e sviluppato da una comunit\u00e0 di sviluppatori distinta. Il compilatore supporta le varianti del linguaggio Raku descritte nelle specifiche 6.c, 6.d (per impostazione predefinita). \u00c8 disponibile anche il rilascio della macchina virtuale MoarVM 2023.04, che crea l'ambiente per eseguire il bytecode compilato in Rakudo. In Rakudo \u00e8 supportata anche la compilazione per JVM e alcune di macchine virtuali<\/a> per JavaScript. <\/p>\n

Tra le novit\u00e0 di Rakudo 2023.04 si segnala l'attivazione del supporto per RakuAST («use experimental :rakuast») specificando «use v6.e.PREVIEW» e «v6.*» per abilitare le funzionalit\u00e0 linguistiche proposte nella specifica 6.e. Nella «sub comb» \u00e8 stato aggiunto il supporto per rotor. Nella snip \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di elaborare liste infinite. In IO::Path.chown \u00e8 stata realizzata una semantica simile a unlink. \u00c8 stato interrotto il supporto per PERL6_EXCEPTIONS_HANDLER.
