Sono disponibili per il download senza restrizioni le immagini ISO di installazione, delle dimensioni di 9,8 GB e 880 MB, preparate per le architetture x86_64 e ARM64 (aarch64). Per Oracle Linux \u00e8 aperto un accesso illimitato e gratuito al repository yum con aggiornamenti binari dei pacchetti contenenti correzioni di bug (errata) e problemi di sicurezza. Sono stati inoltre preparati repository di supporto separati con set di pacchetti Application Stream e CodeReady Builder. <\/p>\n
Oltre ai pacchetti del kernel contenuti in RHEL (basati sui kernel 4.18 e 5.14), Oracle Linux offre il proprio kernel Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 7 Update 1 (UEK R7U1), basato sul kernel Linux 5.15 e ottimizzato per funzionare con software e hardware industriale Oracle.
