Le vulnerabilit\u00e0 consentono a un utente locale non privilegiato di eseguire codice con i diritti del kernel. Nel rapporto di ottobre sulle problematiche di sicurezza della piattaforma Android si menziona che, prima dell'emissione di una correzione, una delle vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2023-4211) \u00e8 gi\u00e0 stata sfruttata da malintenzionati in exploit di lavoro per attacchi mirati (0-day). Ad esempio, la vulnerabilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata in applicazioni dannose diffuse tramite fonti dubbie per ottenere accesso completo al sistema e installare componenti che spiano l'utente.      <\/p>\n<p>Vulnerabilit\u00e0 trovate:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2023-4211 &#8212; l'esecuzione di un'operazione non corretta con la memoria GPU pu\u00f2 portare all'accesso a memoria di sistema gi\u00e0 liberata, che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata nel processo di esecuzione di altre attivit\u00e0 nel kernel. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata risolta nell'aggiornamento del driver r43p0 per GPU Mali basati sulle microarchitetture Bifrost e Valhall, cos\u00ec come per la 5\u00b0 generazione di GPU ARM. Non \u00e8 stato rilasciato alcun aggiornamento del driver per le GPU della famiglia Midgard.\n<p>La correzione \u00e8 stata anche proposta nell'ambito degli aggiornamenti di settembre per le versioni di Chrome OS 114\/115\/116 e nell'aggiornamento di ottobre per Android. I modelli di GPU vulnerabili sono utilizzati negli smartphone Google Pixel 7, Samsung S20 e S21, Motorola Edge 40, OnePlus Nord 2, Asus ROG Phone 6, Redmi Note 11, 12, Honor 70 Pro, RealMe GT, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Oppo Find X5 Pro, Reno 8 Pro e alcuni dispositivi con chip Mediatek.    <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2023-33200 &#8212; operazioni non corrette con la GPU possono portare a una condizione di race e all'accesso a memoria gi\u00e0 liberata dal driver. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata risolta negli aggiornamenti dei driver r44p1 e r45p0 per GPU Mali basati sulle microarchitetture Bifrost e Valhall, cos\u00ec come per la 5\u00b0 generazione di GPU ARM.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2023-34970 &#8212; operazioni non corrette con la GPU possono portare a un overflow del buffer e all'accesso a memoria al di fuori del buffer allocato. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata risolta negli aggiornamenti dei driver r44p1 e r45p0 per GPU Mali basati sulla microarchitettura Valhall e per la 5\u00b0 generazione di GPU ARM.          <\/ul>\n<p>Nel rapporto di ottobre sulle vulnerabilit\u00e0 in Android sono state menzionate 53 vulnerabilit\u00e0, di cui 5 hanno ricevuto un livello critico di pericolo, mentre le altre - un alto livello di pericolo. I problemi critici consentono di effettuare un attacco remoto per eseguire il proprio codice nel sistema. I problemi contrassegnati come pericolosi permettono di eseguire codice nel contesto di un processo privilegiato attraverso manipolazioni con le applicazioni locali. Tre problemi critici (CVE-2023-24855, CVE-2023-28540 e CVE-2023-33028) sono stati identificati nei componenti proprietari di Qualcomm e due (CVE-2023-40129, CVE-2023-4863) nel sistema (in libwebp e nel stack Bluetooth). In totale, nei componenti ARM sono state riscontrate 5 vulnerabilit\u00e0, in MediaTek 3, in Unisoc 1 e in Qualcomm 17 (rapporto di Qualcomm).
