ARM ha rivelato informazioni su tre vulnerabilit\u00e0 nei driver per le sue GPU, utilizzate in Android, ChromeOS e nelle distribuzioni Linux. Una correzione \u00e8 stata anche proposta come parte degli aggiornamenti di settembre per le versioni 114\/115\/116 di Chrome OS e del'aggiornamento di ottobre per Android. I modelli vulnerabili di GPU sono utilizzati negli smartphone Google Pixel 7, Samsung S20 e S21, Motorola Edge 40, OnePlus Nord 2, Asus ROG Phone 6, Redmi Note 11, 12, Honor 70 Pro, RealMe GT, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Oppo Find X5 Pro, Reno 8 Pro e in alcuni dispositivi con chip Mediatek. <\/p>\n
Il rapporto di ottobre sulle vulnerabilit\u00e0 di Android menziona 53 vulnerabilit\u00e0, di cui 5 hanno un livello di criticit\u00e0 elevato, mentre le altre hanno un elevato livello di pericolo. I problemi critici consentono un attacco remoto per eseguire codice nel sistema. I problemi contrassegnati come pericolosi permettono, tramite la manipolazione delle applicazioni locali, di eseguire codice nel contesto di un processo privilegiato. Tre problemi critici (CVE-2023-24855, CVE-2023-28540 e CVE-2023-33028) sono stati identificati in componenti proprietari di Qualcomm e due (CVE-2023-40129, CVE-2023-4863) nel sistema (in libwebp e nel stack Bluetooth). Complessivamente sono state identificate 5 vulnerabilit\u00e0 nei componenti ARM, 3 in MediaTek, 1 in Unisoc e 17 in Qualcomm (rapporto di Qualcomm).
