Sono disponibili tre versioni per il download: una versione ridotta (435 MB) per sistemi server, una con desktop di base (1 GB) e una completa con un set di applicazioni aggiuntive (2,7 GB). Circa 35.000 pacchetti sono disponibili per l'installazione dai repository.     <\/p>\n<p>Principali modifiche:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  \u00c8 stato effettuato il passaggio al repository Debian 12 (in precedenza veniva utilizzato Debian 11).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nelle build per le schede Raspberry Pi 4 e Raspberry Pi 5, i componenti dell'ambiente desktop sono passati da Openbox a un gestore composito Wayfire, che utilizza il protocollo Wayland, migliorando cos\u00ec le prestazioni dell'ambiente grafico e includendo effetti animati all'apertura e alla chiusura delle finestre. Per la creazione dell'ambiente desktop viene ancora utilizzato il file manager pcmanfm, ma ora adattato per l'uso con Wayland. Per l'esecuzione di applicazioni che supportano solo X11, \u00e8 stata fornita un'interfaccia XWayland. Per chi non desidera utilizzare Wayland, \u00e8 stata implementata nel configuratore raspi-config la possibilit\u00e0 di tornare al server X con il gestore delle finestre Openbox. PipeWire offre un modello di sicurezza avanzato che consente di gestire l'accesso a livello di singoli dispositivi e flussi specifici, semplificando l'organizzazione del passaggio di audio e video da e verso contenitori isolati. PipeWire pu\u00f2 gestire qualsiasi flusso multimediale ed \u00e8 in grado di miscelare e reindirizzare non solo flussi audio, ma anche flussi video, oltre a gestire le fonti video (dispositivi di acquisizione video, webcam o contenuti dello schermo generati da applicazioni). Come server VNC \u00e8 stato utilizzato wayvnc, che \u00e8 inferiore rispetto al precedente RealVNC in termini di supporto per i client VNC, ma funziona normalmente con il client TigerVNC. Le applicazioni SenseHAT Emulator, Magnifier (non compatibile con Wayfire), BlueJ IDE (non compatibile con Wayland), Greenfoot IDE (non compatibile con Wayland) e Sonic Pi (non compatibile con
