I sorgenti del progetto sono disponibili con licenza GPLv2.       <\/p>\n<p>Asterisk 21 \u00e8 classificato come una versione con supporto standard, con aggiornamenti forniti per due anni. Il supporto della versione LTS di Asterisk 20 durer\u00e0 fino a ottobre 2027, mentre Asterisk 18 fino a ottobre 2025. Il supporto per la versione LTS 17.x \u00e8 terminato. Nello sviluppo delle versioni LTS, l'attenzione principale \u00e8 rivolta alla stabilit\u00e0 e all'ottimizzazione delle prestazioni, mentre per le versioni standard l'obiettivo \u00e8 l'ampliamento delle funzionalit\u00e0.       <\/p>\n<p>Tra le novit\u00e0 di Asterisk 21:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono state ampliate le funzionalit\u00e0 del modulo res_pjsip_pubsub, che aggiunge al stack SIP PJSIP ulteriori capacit\u00e0 per lo scambio distribuito di dati sullo stato dei dispositivi tramite l'estensione PubSub di Jabber\/XMPP (invio di notifiche su abbonamento).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel modulo sig_analog per i canali FXS analogici \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di trattenere l'abbonato chiamato (CSH, Called Subscriber Held), consentendo all'utente di mettere in attesa una chiamata in corso, riattaccare e riprendere la conversazione sollevando la cornetta su un altro telefono sulla stessa linea.
