I codici sorgente del progetto sono disponibili sotto licenza GPLv2.       <\/p>\n<p>Asterisk 21 \u00e8 classificato tra le versioni con supporto standard, con aggiornamenti forniti per due anni. Il supporto per la versione LTS di Asterisk 20 continuer\u00e0 fino a ottobre 2027, mentre Asterisk 18 durer\u00e0 fino a ottobre 2025. Il supporto per la versione LTS 17.x \u00e8 terminato. Nella preparazione delle versioni LTS, viene data particolare attenzione alla stabilit\u00e0 e all'ottimizzazione delle prestazioni, mentre l'obiettivo delle versioni standard \u00e8 l'espansione delle funzionalit\u00e0.       <\/p>\n<p>Tra le novit\u00e0 di Asterisk 21:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Ampliate le funzionalit\u00e0 del modulo res_pjsip_pubsub, che aggiunge ulteriori capacit\u00e0 al stack SIP PJSIP per scambiare in modo distribuito informazioni sullo stato dei dispositivi tramite l'estensione PubSub di Jabber\/XMPP (invio di notifiche su sottoscrizione).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel modulo sig_analog per i canali FXS analogici \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di mantenere in attesa l'abbonato chiamato (CSH, Called Subscriber Held), consentendo all'utente di mettere in attesa la chiamata avviata, riattaccare il telefono e riprendere la conversazione sollevando un altro telefono sulla stessa linea.
