Archinstall funziona in modalit\u00e0 console e pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato al posto della modalit\u00e0 di installazione manuale predefinita. Esiste anche una versione con interfaccia grafica per l'installazione, ma essa non \u00e8 inclusa nei file di installazione di Arch Linux ed \u00e8 ferma da oltre tre anni.     <\/p>\n<p>Archinstall offre modalit\u00e0 di lavoro guidata (dialogo) e automatizzata. In modalit\u00e0 dialogo, all'utente vengono poste una serie di domande riguardanti le impostazioni principali e le azioni dal manuale di installazione. Nella modalit\u00e0 automatizzata, \u00e8 possibile utilizzare script per il dispiegamento di configurazioni standard. L'installatore supporta anche profili di installazione, come il profilo \u00abdesktop\u00bb per la selezione dell'ambiente desktop (KDE, GNOME, Awesome) e l'installazione dei pacchetti necessari, oppure i profili \u00abwebserver\u00bb e \u00abdatabase\u00bb per la selezione e l'installazione dei componenti dei server web e dei database.    <\/p>\n<p>Tra le modifiche nella nuova versione:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunta la supporto per le immagini del kernel nel formato UKI (Unified Kernel Image), generate nell'infrastruttura della distribuzione e firmate digitalmente. UKI combina in un unico file il bootloader per caricare il kernel da UEFI (UEFI boot stub), l'immagine del kernel Linux e l'ambiente di sistema initrd caricato in memoria.
