Greg Kroah-Hartman, responsabile del supporto della linea stabile del kernel Linux, ha pubblicato una nuova versione del kernel 6.6.6, che prevede una modifica riguardante lo stack wireless cfg80211. Questa modifica annulla la correzione di bug introdotta nella versione 6.6.5, che ha causato delle regressioni a causa del fatto che un altro commit correlato non \u00e8 stato trasferito nel kernel 6.6.5 dalla linea 6.7. Un analogo rollback della correzione \u00e8 stato proposto nella versione 6.1.67. <\/p>\n

La modifica regressiva causava il verificarsi di deadlock nei gestori di rete che operano in user space.
