Il progetto \u00e8 guidato da Eric Raymond con la partecipazione di alcuni sviluppatori dell'originale NTP Classic, ingegneri delle aziende Hewlett Packard e Akamai Technologies, oltre ai progetti GPSD e RTEMS. I codici sorgente di NTPsec sono distribuiti sotto licenze BSD, MIT e NTP.    <\/p>\n<p>Tra le modifiche nella nuova versione:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Modificato l'allineamento dei pacchetti del protocollo di controllo, Modalit\u00e0 6, che potrebbe portare a problemi di compatibilit\u00e0 con il classico NTP. Il protocollo Mode 6 \u00e8 utilizzato per la trasmissione di informazioni sullo stato <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"\u0441\u0435\u0440\u0432\u0435\u0440\u0430\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3615\">\u0441\u0435\u0440\u0432\u0435\u0440\u0430<\/a> e per modificare il comportamento del server in tempo reale.\n<li class=\"l\"> In ntpq \u00e8 abilitato di default un algoritmo di crittografia AES.\n<li class=\"l\"> Attraverso il meccanismo Seccomp \u00e8 stata garantita la blocco di nomi di chiamate di sistema non corretti.\n<li class=\"l\"> Incluso un ripristino orario di alcune statistiche. Aggiunti file di log con statistiche NTS e NTS-KE registrate ogni ora.
