GodotOS si presenta come un esperimento nell'uso del motore di gioco per progettare un'interfaccia desktop minimalista, user-friendly e esteticamente gradevole. Il codice del progetto \u00e8 scritto in GDScript ed \u00e8 distribuito sotto la licenza AGPLv3. Le build sono disponibili per Linux e Windows, ed \u00e8 stata preparata una demo, scaricabile tramite Web e che funziona nel browser.      <\/p>\n<p>In GodotOS \u00e8 supportato il lavoro con file, la modifica di documenti di testo, la visualizzazione di immagini e persino l'avvio di giochi semplici.
