Il rilascio di build non ufficiali con Xfce \u00e8 gestito separatamente dalla comunit\u00e0. Per impostazione predefinita, GhostBSD utilizza il filesystem ZFS. \u00c8 supportato sia il funzionamento in modalit\u00e0 Live che l'installazione su disco rigido (utilizza il proprio installer ginstall, scritto in Python). Le immagini di avvio sono state create per l'architettura x86_64 (2.5 GB).      <\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata effettuata la sincronizzazione con il ramo FreeBSD 14-STABLE (nella versione precedente era utilizzato il ramo FreeBSD 13.2-STABLE).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nell'installer, l'utente creato ora riceve diritti di amministratore, e la password specificata per questo utente \u00e8 stata impostata anche per l'utente root.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nell'applicazione Update Station \u00e8 stata aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di aggiornare il sistema alla prossima versione significativa, quindi ora \u00e8 possibile aggiornare GhostBSD da una versione basata su FreeBSD 13.2-STABLE a una versione basata su FreeBSD 14.0-STABLE.      <\/ul>\n<p>
