Dalla versione 9.2 sono stati chiusi 23 report di bug e effettuate 295 modifiche.    <\/p>\n<p>Le modifiche pi\u00f9 importanti:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Nell'API Windows Internet (WinINet) \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per l'utilizzo tramite proxy.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto un nuovo driver mouhid.sys per i dispositivi di puntamento (touchpad, mouse) che utilizzano il protocollo HID (Human Interface Device).\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono state aggiornate le informazioni sui fusi orari.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sulle piattaforme ARM \u00e8 proseguito il lavoro per migliorare la gestione delle eccezioni.\n<li class=\"l\"> Chiusi i report di bug relativi al funzionamento dei giochi: Final Fantasy XI, Virtual Life 2, Finding Nemo, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Baldur's Gate 3, Mass Effect Legendary Edition.    <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono stati chiusi i rapporti di errore relativi al funzionamento delle applicazioni: FDM (Free Download Manager), Basemark Web 3.0, Happy Foto Designer, IK Product Manager, Western Digital SSD Dashboard, cmd.exe, Solidworks 2008, Autodesk Fusion360, LMMS 1.2.2.        <\/ul>\n<p>Inoltre, si segnala la pubblicazione da parte di Valve della versione beta del pacchetto Proton 9.0, basato sul codice del progetto Wine e mirato a garantire l'esecuzione su Linux delle applicazioni di gioco create per Windows e presenti nel catalogo Steam. Proton consente di avviare direttamente nel client Steam su Linux le applicazioni di gioco rese disponibili solo per Windows. Il pacchetto include l'implementazione di DirectX 9\/10\/11 (basata sul pacchetto DXVK) e DirectX 12 (basata su vkd3d-proton), operante tramite la traduzione delle chiamate DirectX nell'API Vulkan, offre un supporto migliorato per i controller di gioco e la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare la modalit\u00e0 a schermo intero indipendentemente dalle risoluzioni supportate dai giochi. Per aumentare le prestazioni dei giochi multithread, sono supportati i meccanismi \u00abesync\u00bb (Eventfd Synchronization) e \u00abfutex\/fsync\u00bb.  <\/p>\n<p>Nel nuovo ramo di Proton \u00e8 stata eseguita la sincronizzazione con il rilascio di Wine 9.0. Sono stati trasferiti da Proton negli upstream i patch specifici accumulati, che ora fanno parte della composizione principale di Wine. Fino alla versione 2.3 \u00e8 stata aggiornata l'interfaccia DXVK, che traduce le chiamate nell'API Vulkan. VKD3D-Proton, un ramo di vkd3d creato da Valve per migliorare il supporto di Direct3D 12 in Proton, \u00e8 stato aggiornato alla versione 2.11.1.
