I problemi si manifestano a partire dal kernel 5.15, a cui \u00e8 stato aggiunto il modulo ksmbd. Le vulnerabilit\u00e0 sono state corrette negli aggiornamenti del kernel 6.7.2, 6.6.14, 6.1.75 e 5.15.145. Puoi monitorare le correzioni nelle distribuzioni alle seguenti pagine: Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, RHEL, SUSE, Fedora, Arch.     <\/p>\n<p>La prima vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2024-26592) pu\u00f2 portare all'esecuzione di codice dell'attaccante con privilegi di kernel inviando richieste TCP appositamente formattate e non autenticati a <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/dts-shicago\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2885\">server<\/a> ksmbd. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 causata da una scorretta organizzazione del blocco degli oggetti nel codice di apertura e interruzione della connessione TCP a ksmbd, che consente di creare condizioni per l'accesso a memoria gi\u00e0 liberata (use-after-free).       <\/p>\n<p>La seconda vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2024-26594) porta a una perdita di contenuti della memoria del kernel durante l'elaborazione di un token mech non valido nella richiesta di apertura della sessione inviata dal client. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 causata da una cattiva gestione dei dati con il token mech SMB2 e porta alla lettura di dati al di fuori del buffer allocato.    <\/p>\n<p>In aggiunta, si possono notare alcune altre vulnerabilit\u00e0 nel kernel Linux:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2023-52439 \u2014 access to already freed memory (use-after-free) in the uio_open function of the uio subsystem, potentially allowing a local user to execute their code with kernel privileges.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2024-26582 \u2014 access to already freed memory (use-after-free) in the kernel-level TLS implementation (ktls), potentially allowing privilege escalation during decryption operations.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2024-0646 \u2014 writing to memory outside the buffer in the ktls subsystem during a specific local manipulation of the ktls socket using the splice function. This vulnerability potentially allows privilege escalation in the system.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2023-6932 \u2014 a race condition in the implementation of the IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) in the IPv4 stack, leading to access to already freed memory (use-after-free).
