Nel kernel Linux 6.7 \u00e8 stata scoperta un'errore piuttosto grave nella logica del funzionamento del file system Bcachefs, che si manifesta in configurazioni con pi\u00f9 dispositivi di memorizzazione quando si utilizzano nuove versioni degli strumenti per creare il file system. Il problema si esprime nel fatto che \u00e8 possibile creare una situazione in cui il file system tenta di aggiornare la versione, questo non sar\u00e0 completato, dopo di che il kernel pu\u00f2 tentare di rendere la versione del file system pi\u00f9 vecchia \u2014 e a seguito di tale interazione pu\u00f2 verificarsi una grave corruzione del file system. <\/p>\n

Attualmente, si raccomanda a tutti gli utenti di Bcachefs con pi\u00f9 di un dispositivo di aggiornare al kernel 6.8, poich\u00e9 le correzioni proposte non sono state integrate nel ramo 6.7 a causa di incoerenze nelle richieste di integrazione (le correzioni per problemi diversi sono state inviate in una sola pull request senza separazione in patch singole).
