\u00c8 disponibile la versione alpha del linguaggio di programmazione Python 3.13.0a6, che si distingue per l'inclusione nella serie 3.13, da cui verr\u00e0 sviluppata la versione stabile di Python 3.14 in autunno. Sono state implementate anche funzionalit\u00e0 sperimentali di un compilatore JIT che offre un notevole aumento delle prestazioni. Per attivare JIT in CPython \u00e8 stata aggiunta l'opzione di compilazione «—enable-experimental-jit». Per utilizzare JIT \u00e8 necessaria l'installazione di LLVM come dipendenza aggiuntiva. <\/p>\n

Il processo di traduzione del codice macchina in JIT \u00e8 basato sull'architettura «Copy-and-Patch», in cui LLVM crea un file oggetto in formato ELF contenente dati sulle istruzioni del bytecode e informazioni sui necessari cambiamenti. JIT sostituisce le istruzioni del bytecode generate durante l'interpretazione del programma con le loro controparti in codice macchina, sostituendo al contempo i dati necessari per i calcoli (JIT copia modelli precompilati di funzioni e inserisce in essi i valori richiesti, come argomenti e costanti). <\/p>\n

Il JIT proposto si distingue per un'eccezionale velocit\u00e0 di generazione del codice, facilit\u00e0 di manutenzione e piena integrazione con l'interprete. Rispetto alla compilazione in WebAssembly (Liftoff), il nuovo JIT genera codice cinque volte pi\u00f9 rapidamente, e il codice risultante funziona con il 50% di velocit\u00e0 in pi\u00f9. In confronto con gli strumenti JIT tradizionali di LLVM, il JIT implementato in CPython offre una generazione del codice cento volte pi\u00f9 veloce e un codice risultante pi\u00f9 veloce del 15%.
