Sono stati pubblicati i primi rilasci del progetto Redka, mirato a fornire il protocollo RESP e API compatibili con i database Redis, ma realizzati sopra la libreria SQLite. In particolare, nell'ambiente di test creato, Redis ha mostrato prestazioni di 133.000 operazioni SET al secondo e 139.000 operazioni GET al secondo, mentre le prestazioni di Redka hanno raggiunto 30.000 SET al secondo e 63.000 GET al secondo in una situazione in cui il database era memorizzato nella memoria.
