L'azienda SiPearl ha specificato le specifiche dei processori Arm Rhea1 che sta sviluppando, i quali saranno utilizzati, tra l'altro, nel primo supercomputer exaflop europeo, JUPITER, anche se i principali chip di questo sistema saranno comunque gli acceleratori ibridi NVIDIA GH200. SiPearl ha inoltre posticipato nuovamente i tempi di rilascio di Rhea1: inizialmente i primi campioni dovevano essere presentati nel 2022, ma ora l'azienda parla del 2025. Tuttavia, il design dei processori non \u00e8 cambiato sostanzialmente. Questi avranno 80 nuclei Arm Neoverse V1 (Zeus), presentati nella primavera del 2020. Ogni nucleo avr\u00e0 due blocchi SIMD SVE-256, che supportano, tra l'altro, il lavoro con BF16. La dimensione del LLC \u00e8 di 160 MB. Per il bus interno viene utilizzato il Neoverse CMN-700. Per la connessione con il mondo esterno ci sono 104 linee PCIe 5.0: sei x16 + due x4. Non si fa menzione diretta del supporto per le configurazioni multi-chip.
