Alpine Linux \u00e8 una distribuzione minimalista, costruita su musl libc e busybox, che la rende piccola e molto efficiente in termini di risorse. Per un container richiede al massimo 8 MB, mentre per l'installazione minima su disco sono necessari circa 130 MB di memoria.
