Attualmente, lo sviluppo si trova nella fase di prototipo iniziale, basato su modelli di interfaccia pubblicati ad aprile, preparati dai designer del progetto GNOME. In questa fase di sviluppo, l'attenzione \u00e8 focalizzata sull'architettura generale e sulla definizione della logica interna, ad esempio, l'organizzazione della navigazione e l'ordine di visualizzazione delle pagine durante la preparazione all'installazione.
