\u00c8 stata rilasciata una nuova versione del sistema operativo Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10. Questo aggiornamento della precedente versione sar\u00e0 supportato parallelamente alla serie RHEL 9.x fino al 2029. Le build di installazione sono disponibili per diverse architetture, ma solo per gli utenti registrati del Red Hat Customer Portal.<\/p>\n

RHEL 8.10 \u00e8 l'ultima versione della serie 8.x, sviluppata in fase di supporto completo e include miglioramenti funzionali. A partire dal 31 maggio 2024, la serie 8.x passer\u00e0 in fase di manutenzione, dove la priorit\u00e0 sar\u00e0 data alla correzione di errori e alla sicurezza.<\/p>\n

Questo rilascio include nuove versioni di compiler e strumenti per sviluppatori, pacchetti server e di sistema aggiornati. \u00c8 fornito un supporto completo per la tecnologia di creazione di enclavi isolate Intel SGX. Il driver IDXD \u00e8 stato stabilizzato per sfruttare gli acceleratori di trasferimento dati integrati nel CPU Intel. \u00c8 stata aggiunta la supporto per l'hashing delle password utilizzando l'algoritmo bcrypt e molto altro ancora.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 importante notare che i codici sorgente dei pacchetti RPM di RHEL 8 non sono pi\u00f9 distribuiti pubblicamente, ma rimangono accessibili ai clienti attraverso la sezione riservata del sito.
