L'autore ha chiamato il suo sistema operativo <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.sr.ht\/~sircmpwn\/bunnix\">Bunnix<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Il sistema \u00e8 un sistema operativo monolitico simile a Unix, scritto in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/harelang.org\/\">Hare<\/a> con piccole inclusioni del linguaggio C.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>Nel user space \u00e8 stata assemblata la seguente serie di strumenti:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>    dash (\/bin\/sh)<\/li>\n<li>    gzip<\/li>\n<li>    less (pager)<\/li>\n<li>    lok (\/bin\/awk)<\/li>\n<li>    lolcat<\/li>\n<li>    mandoc (pagine man)<\/li>\n<li>    sbase (core utils)1<\/li>\n<li>    tcc (compilatore C)<\/li>\n<li>    Vim 5.7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Per dimostrare le capacit\u00e0 del sistema, sono stati assemblati anche i giochi Doom e Colossal Cave Adventure.<\/p>\n<p>Il sistema pu\u00f2 essere avviato tramite QEmu o impresso su una USB. L'interazione diretta con la USB non \u00e8 supportata, pertanto su hardware reale \u00e8 necessario utilizzare PS2\/tastiera. Il kernel supporta i seguenti driver:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>    PCI,<\/li>\n<li>    dispositivi AHCI,<\/li>\n<li>    tabelle di partizione GPT e MBR,<\/li>\n<li>    tastiera PS\/2,<\/li>\n<li>    porte seriali,<\/li>\n<li>    orologi CMOS,<\/li>\n<li>    framebuffer,<\/li>\n<li>    sistema di file ext4 e memfs (tramite lwext4).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le funzionalit\u00e0 del kernel includono: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> sistema di file virtuale,<\/li>\n<li> \/dev, \/dev\/kbd \u0438 \/dev\/fb0,<\/li>\n<li> serali e VideoTTY,<\/li>\n<li> terminale di controllo \/dev\/tty,<\/li>\n<li> emulatore di terminale,<\/li>\n<li> termios,<\/li>\n<li> circa 40 chiamate di sistema (clock_gettime, poll, openat, fork, exec, Pipe, dup, dup2, ioctl, ecc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L'autore ha realizzato questo progetto per interesse personale e non intende svilupparlo ulteriormente. Era curioso di sapere quanto fosse facile scrivere un kernel e portare software di terze parti utilizzando strumenti moderni. Come afferma lo sviluppatore, il software di terze parti \u00e8 stato relativamente facile da portare grazie al fatto che la sua libc era basata su musl libc, il che ha reso relativamente semplice
