Gli sviluppatori del progetto Hurd hanno annunciato la possibilit\u00e0 di compilare nel distribuzione Debian GNU\/Hurd il 71% dei pacchetti dell'archivio Debian. L'anno scorso questa percentuale era del 58%. Tra gli altri risultati di GNU\/Hurd si segnala il porting del kernel Mach per l'architettura AArch64 e l'adozione di patch che consentono l'uso di GCC per compilare applicazioni GNU\/Hurd per AArch64. Attualmente, il port non offre ancora tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 desiderate, ma pu\u00f2 gi\u00e0 essere utilizzato per eseguire semplici applicazioni.
