PeerTube offre un'alternativa indipendente a YouTube, Dailymotion e Vimeo, utilizzando una rete di distribuzione dei contenuti basata su comunicazioni P2P e collegamenti tra i browser dei visitatori.    <\/p>\n<p>Novit\u00e0 principali:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la modalit\u00e0 di pre-moderazione selettiva per i commenti ai video pubblicati che contengono parole della blacklist o hyperlink. Tali commenti vengono inseriti in un elenco di revisione e appaiono solo dopo la verifica da parte del proprietario del canale. La pre-moderazione selettiva pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata anche dall'amministratore del server nel contesto dei video pubblicati filtrando per parole chiave.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rilascio della piattaforma di streaming decentralizzata PeerTube 6.2\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/ba7a87906ad51d08398aa043d4ca5844.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di assegnare automaticamente tag ai commenti e ai video in base a un elenco di parole chiave o regole stabilite dal proprietario del canale o dall'amministratore del server. I tag assegnati possono essere utilizzati per la filtrazione automatica di video o commenti.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di generare automaticamente i sottotitoli per i nuovi video caricati sul server. L'amministratore pu\u00f2 anche avviare la generazione selettiva dei sottotitoli per i video gi\u00e0 presenti sul server. Per creare i sottotitoli viene utilizzato un elaboratore runner, basato sul sistema di riconoscimento vocale Whisper, che pu\u00f2 essere eseguito su un altro server per non sovraccaricare il server principale di PeerTube.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato proposto un nuovo metodo per creare un'anteprima basata su un fotogramma scelto dal video (in precedenza, per l'anteprima era necessaria il caricamento di un'immagine esterna).\n<li class=\"l\"> Nelle liste dei video recentemente aggiunti, seguiti e in aumento di popolarit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata garantita la visualizzazione delle dirette streaming.        <\/ul>\n<p>La piattaforma PeerTube \u00e8 stata inizialmente basata sull'uso del client BitTorrent WebTorrent, avviato nel browser e che utilizza la tecnologia WebRTC per organizzare un canale P2P diretto tra i browser. In seguito, invece di WebTorrent, \u00e8 stato adottato il protocollo HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) in combinazione con WebRTC, permettendo una gestione adattiva del flusso in base alla larghezza di banda disponibile. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1720\">server<\/a> Con un video nella rete federativa comune, in cui i visitatori partecipano alla distribuzione di contenuti e hanno la possibilit\u00e0 di iscriversi ai canali e ricevere notifiche sui nuovi video, \u00e8 stato utilizzato il protocollo ActivityPub. L'interfaccia web fornita dal progetto \u00e8 costruita utilizzando il framework Angular.    <\/p>\n<p>La rete federativa PeerTube si forma come una comunit\u00e0 di piccoli server collegati tra loro, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/\"   title=\"di hosting\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2420\">di hosting<\/a> video, ciascuno con il proprio amministratore e possono avere proprie regole. Ogni server con video funge da tracker BitTorrent, dove sono registrati gli account degli utenti di quel server e i loro video. L'identificatore utente \u00e8 formato nella forma &#171;@nome_utente@dominio_server&#187;. Il trasferimento dei dati durante la visione avviene direttamente dai browser di altri visitatori che stanno visualizzando il contenuto.     <\/p>\n<p>Se nessuno guarda il video, il contenuto viene fornito dal server su cui \u00e8 stato caricato inizialmente (utilizzando il protocollo WebSeed). Oltre a distribuire il traffico tra gli utenti che guardano il video, PeerTube consente anche ai nodi avviati dagli autori per la pubblicazione iniziale di video di memorizzare nella cache i video di altri autori, creando una rete distribuita non solo di client, ma anche di server, garantendo cos\u00ec la resilienza. \u00c8 supportata la trasmissione in diretta (live streaming) con consegna dei contenuti in modalit\u00e0 P2P (per gestire lo streaming possono essere utilizzati software standard, come OBS).      <\/p>\n<p> Per iniziare a trasmettere tramite PeerTube, \u00e8 sufficiente che l'utente carichi un video su uno dei server, insieme a una descrizione e a un insieme di tag. Dopo di ci\u00f2, il video sar\u00e0 disponibile in tutta la rete federata, e non solo sul server di caricamento originale. Per utilizzare PeerTube e partecipare alla distribuzione dei contenuti, \u00e8 sufficiente un normale browser e non \u00e8 necessario installare software aggiuntivo. Gli utenti possono tenere traccia delle attivit\u00e0 nei canali video scelti, iscrivendosi ai canali d'interesse nelle reti sociali federate (ad esempio, in Mastodon e Pleroma) o tramite RSS. Per distribuire video utilizzando comunicazioni P2P, l'utente pu\u00f2 anche aggiungere un widget speciale con un lettore web integrato sul proprio sito.     <\/p>\n<p>Attualmente, sono in funzione 1035 server per l'hosting dei contenuti, supportati da vari volontari e organizzazioni. Se un utente non \u00e8 soddisfatto delle regole per l'hosting dei video su un determinato server PeerTube, pu\u00f2 connettersi a un altro server o avviare il proprio server.
