Attualmente, nel repository supportato dal progetto sono disponibili i pacchetti src corrispondenti alle versioni attuali di RHEL 9.4 e 8.10, oltre agli aggiornamenti accumulati.    <\/p>\n<p>OpenELA ha preso il posto del repository git.centos.org, il cui supporto \u00e8 stato interrotto da Red Hat. I pacchetti presenti nel repository OpenELA sono distribuiti gratuitamente e senza restrizioni e possono essere utilizzati come base per la creazione di distribuzioni binary-compatible con Red Hat Enterprise Linux, identiche nel comportamento (a livello di errori) a RHEL e adatte per essere utilizzate come sostituto di RHEL. Il repository \u00e8 mantenuto grazie agli sforzi congiunti dei team di sviluppo delle distribuzioni compatibili con RHEL Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux e SUSE Liberty Linux.    <\/p>\n<p>Dopo la chiusura di git.centos.org, l'unica fonte pubblica rimasta per il codice dei pacchetti RHEL \u00e8 il repository CentOS Stream, che non \u00e8 completamente sincronizzato con RHEL e non sempre le versioni pi\u00f9 recenti dei pacchetti corrispondono a quelle di RHEL.
