La societ\u00e0 Canonical ha rilasciato il primo aggiornamento correttivo della distribuzione Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, che include aggiornamenti per diverse centinaia di pacchetti, volti a risolvere vulnerabilit\u00e0 e problemi di stabilit\u00e0. Nella nuova versione sono stati corretti errori nell'installer e nel bootloader. Il rilascio di Ubuntu 24.04.1 segna il completamento della stabilizzazione di base della versione LTS \u2014 agli utenti della precedente serie LTS Ubuntu 22.04 verr\u00e0 ora proposta l'aggiornamento alla serie 24.04. <\/p>\n

Sono stati anche presentati aggiornamenti simili per Ubuntu Budgie 24.04.1 LTS, Kubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, Ubuntu MATE 24.04.1 LTS, Ubuntu Studio 24.04.1 LTS, Lubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, Ubuntu Kylin 24.04.1 LTS e Xubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. Utilizzare le versioni presentate ha senso solo per nuove installazioni \u2014 le configurazioni Ubuntu 24.04 gi\u00e0 installate riceveranno tutte le modifiche presenti in Ubuntu 24.04.1 tramite il normale sistema di aggiornamento. Il supporto per il rilascio di aggiornamenti e correzioni di problemi di sicurezza per le edizioni server e desktop di Ubuntu 24.04 LTS durer\u00e0 fino ad aprile 2029 (pi\u00f9 altri 7 anni per gli utenti del servizio Ubuntu Pro). <\/p>\n

Tra le modifiche nella nuova versione si segnalano l'aggiornamento a nuove versioni correttive dei pacchetti GNOME (46.2), Mesa (24.0.9), driver grafici nvidia, xdg-desktop-portal-gnome, ovn (24.03.2), snapd (2.63.1) e apparmor. Nel pacchetto livecd-rootfs \u00e8 stato aggiunto il progetto ubuntu-core-installer e fornita una supporto sperimentale per la costruzione di immagini di installazione ubuntu-core-desktop. Nel pacchetto linux-firmware \u00e8 stata implementata la supporto per DCN 3.5 (Display Core Next) per GPU AMD. \u00c8 stato migliorato il supporto per la piattaforma RISC-V, aggiunto il supporto per le schede StarFive VisionFive 2 e Allwinner Nezha. Sono stati aggiunti identificatori per nuovi chip Broadcom. \u00c8 stato risolto un problema con il boot di rete dell'installer di Ubuntu Desktop. <\/p>\n

L'integrazione della nuova versione del kernel, dei driver e dei componenti dello stack grafico \u00e8 attesa nel rilascio programmato per febbraio di Ubuntu 24.04.2, poich\u00e9 questi componenti saranno importati dal rilascio di Ubuntu 24.10, che sar\u00e0 pronto solo in autunno e richieder\u00e0 ulteriore tempo per i test.
