Il creatore della distribuzione originale Adelie Linux, che utilizza la libreria C standard Musl, il sistema di init OpenRC e il gestore di pacchetti APK, ha annunciato il successo del porting del gestore di sistema systemd per funzionare con la libreria Musl. Inizialmente, systemd supporta solo la libreria C Glibc, ma un progetto separato di OpenEmbedded ha sviluppato un insieme di patch che consente di utilizzare systemd in ambienti basati su Musl. Il nuovo porting mira a creare una serie completamente aggiornata di patch che garantisca il funzionamento con le versioni recenti di systemd e musl, e sfrutti le nuove funzionalit\u00e0 di systemd e musl. Il porting presentato \u00e8 scritto da zero e, eccetto le modifiche relative al supporto di GLOB_BRACE, malloc_info e malloc_trim, non si sovrappone a quello di OpenEmbedded. \t <\/p>\n

Si segnala che il progetto Adelie Linux stava coltivando l'idea di garantire il funzionamento di systemd in un ambiente basato su Musl dal 2015, ma ci sono sempre state priorit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 elevate fino a quando una delle aziende non ha espresso disponibilit\u00e0 a finanziare il completamento del porting. Il nuovo insieme di patch si sviluppa inizialmente con l'obiettivo di promuovere le modifiche nella base di systemd (le problematiche identificate durante il porting sono gi\u00e0 state integrate nel progetto principale). <\/p>\n

Tra i problemi noti osservati nella prima versione del porting, si segnala un problema con PolicyKit che porta a un blocco della sessione KDE quando si tenta di riavviare i sistemi tramite il widget. Tra le altre attivit\u00e0 ancora da risolvere c'\u00e8 la creazione di file unit per gli script di inizializzazione openrc utilizzati nella distribuzione Adelie Linux (si prevede di utilizzare come base i file unit da Gentoo e Fedora).
