Il progetto Nginx ha annunciato il passaggio dallo sviluppo con il sistema di controllo delle versioni Mercurial a Git, il trasferimento del repository ufficiale su GitHub e l'uso delle piattaforme GitHub Issues e GitHub Discussions al posto del sistema di tracciamento errori trac.nginx.org e delle discussioni via mailing list. Si prevede che il passaggio a GitHub faciliter\u00e0 l'interazione con la comunit\u00e0 e attirer\u00e0 sviluppatori esterni al progetto. <\/p>\n

Per accogliere modifiche da altri partecipanti, \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare le pull request. Il sistema di tracciamento errori trac.nginx.org \u00e8 stato impostato in modalit\u00e0 di sola lettura. Per dare agli sviluppatori e agli utenti il tempo di adattarsi al nuovo sistema, fino al 31 dicembre sar\u00e0 comunque possibile inviare patch e ricevere consulenze tramite le mailing list oltre all'uso di GitHub.
