\u00c8 disponibile il rilascio del progetto Input Leap 3.0.0, che sviluppa un software KVM switch (Tastiera, Video, Mouse), consentendo l'uso di una sola tastiera e mouse per gestire pi\u00f9 computer in rete, simulando una connessione fisica al sistema. Input Leap si \u00e8 staccato nel 2021 dal progetto Barrier a causa di problemi di supporto per quest'ultimo. A sua volta, Barrier \u00e8 stato creato come fork del progetto Deskflow, che continua a svilupparsi attivamente. Il codice dei progetti \u00e8 scritto in C++ e distribuito con licenza GPLv2. <\/p>\n

Per utilizzare Input Leap \u00e8 sufficiente installare il pacchetto sui sistemi che si desidera controllare e sul computer fisicamente utilizzato dall'utente. Su tutti i sistemi viene eseguita la stessa applicazione, ma sul sistema con tastiera e mouse viene impostato in modalit\u00e0 server<\/a>. \u00c8 supportato il controllo dei sistemi basati su Linux, Windows, macOS e FreeBSD. \u00c8 possibile utilizzare un clipboard condivisa. <\/p>\n

Input Leap 3.0.0 \u00e8 stato il primo rilascio significativo dopo il fork. Il miglioramento chiave nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata l'implementazione della possibilit\u00e0 di operare in ambienti basati sul protocollo Wayland (le capacit\u00e0 di traslazione in XWayland sono ancora limitate). Grazie allo sviluppo del supporto per Wayland, gli strumenti di gestione remota dei sistemi basati su Input Leap sono stati precedentemente integrati in GNOME 45. Tra le modifiche di Input Leap 3.0.0, si pu\u00f2 notare anche la possibilit\u00e0 di compilazione utilizzando Qt 6, il supporto per la selezione del ramo Qt (5.x o 6.x) durante la compilazione e l'aggiunta di nuovi convertitori per X11, che consentono di trasferire tramite clipboard immagini nei formati png, tiff, jpg e webp.
