Il fulcro delle sue lamentele \u00e8 che Kent Overstreet, l'autore di Bcachefs, invia sempre molte modifiche all'ultimo momento prima del rilascio di una nuova versione preliminare (\u00ab-RC\u00bb) e questa volta le sue modifiche hanno provocato il fallimento della costruzione 6.12-RC1 sui sistemi con ordine dei byte \u00abbig-endian\u00bb quando Bcachefs \u00e8 attivato, poich\u00e9 le patch sono state testate solo nella branch locale di Kent e non sono stati coinvolti altri partecipanti per la loro revisione.     <\/p>\n<p>Alla fine, la pull request \u00e8 stata comunque accettata, tuttavia \u00e8 scoppiato un dibattito riguardo ai test, ai sistemi di integrazione continua e all'interazione con la comunit\u00e0, nel quale diverse persone hanno notato che Kent ha evidenti problemi nel collaborare con gli altri sviluppatori e si considera sempre nel giusto, creando cos\u00ec problemi per il progetto nel suo complesso nel kernel.
