Nelle versioni notturne di Firefox, su cui sar\u00e0 basato il rilascio di Firefox 134 il 7 gennaio, \u00e8 iniziato il test di una barra degli indirizzi aggiornata, che include un pulsante per selezionare il motore di ricerca, simile al pulsante nel menu per aggiungere una barra di ricerca separata. Oltre alla possibilit\u00e0 di inviare rapidamente una query al motore di ricerca desiderato, nel menu mostrato dopo aver premuto il nuovo pulsante sono disponibili anche elementi per accedere alle interfacce di visualizzazione della cronologia di navigazione, della panoramica delle schede aperte o per navigare tra i segnalibri salvati.

Nel menu a discesa vengono mostrati anche pulsanti per eseguire azioni aggiuntive, come stampare la pagina o passare a un'altra scheda.
