L'applicazione \u00e8 un'alternativa gratuita e open source a VPN Hamachi, scritta in Java (con alcuni componenti in C) e distribuita sotto licenza GNU LGPL 3.0. \u00c8 supportata su Windows, GNU\/Linux e FreeBSD.    <\/p>\n<p>Modifiche nella versione 0.12:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Per la crittografia peer-to-peer \u00e8 stato utilizzato l'algoritmo AES-128-GCM. A causa della modifica dell'algoritmo di crittografia, la nuova versione dell'applicazione non potr\u00e0 interagire con le versioni precedenti.
