L'ACS viene presentato come un fork sincronizzato di Weston, con funzionalit\u00e0 avanzate. Il fork sar\u00e0 sincronizzato con il codice sorgente attuale di Weston due volte all'anno. Il codice del progetto \u00e8 distribuito sotto licenza MIT.      <\/p>\n<p>Il progetto \u00e8 stato creato come un banco di prova per lo sviluppo di nuove funzionalit\u00e0 di Wayland, che in seguito verranno integrate nella versione principale di Weston. L'ACS sar\u00e0 anche utilizzato per supportare il codice sviluppato per l'hardware AMD, che non pu\u00f2 essere trasferito nella versione principale di Weston a causa della politica di questo progetto riguardo all'aggiunta del supporto per funzionalit\u00e0 hardware specifiche.     <\/p>\n<p>L'ACS \u00e8 considerato come un riferimento per la composizione <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3884\">server<\/a>, garantendo il supporto pi\u00f9 completo per l'hardware AMD e utilizzato nel processo di sviluppo in AMD di funzionalit\u00e0 grafiche e di visualizzazione avanzate. L'ACS sar\u00e0 inoltre utilizzato come piattaforma aperta, fungendo da base per prodotti commerciali AMD e applicazioni specifiche, come ottimizzatori di prestazioni, lettori multimediali, giochi 3D e strumenti di profilazione.    <\/p>\n<p>Funzionalit\u00e0 aggiuntive dell'ACS, assenti in Weston:    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per la tecnologia FreeSync, che consente di cambiare in modo adattivo la frequenza di aggiornamento del monitor (VRR \u2014 Variable Refresh Rate) per garantire fluidit\u00e0 e assenza di interruzioni durante i giochi e la visualizzazione di video.\n<li class=\"l\"> Implementazione della tecnica di compositing multilivello (MPO \u2014 Multi-Plane Overlay, che combina pi\u00f9 framebuffer in un unico blocco), che utilizza il compositing underlay, in cui il desktop forma uno strato superiore sopra gli altri strati (nella tipica tecnica di compositing overlay, il contenuto viene disegnato sopra lo strato inferiore con il desktop). Il metodo proposto consente di ridurre il consumo di risorse GPU, semplificare il compositing e semplificare le regole di mescolanza.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\u00c8 stata rilasciata la versione del server HTTP Apache 2.4.63. Il lettore supporta HDR, FreeSync, accelerazione hardware tramite VDPAU\/VAAPI e accesso diretto all'API FFmpeg.\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per l'estensione del protocollo Wayland per la gestione del colore e per un ampio intervallo di colori (Wide Gamut).\n<li class=\"l\"> Possibilit\u00e0 di riproduzione video a schermo intero con gamma dinamica estesa sui monitor che supportano HDR (High Dynamic Range).
