Si basa su Debian 12, viene fornito con il desktop GNOME 43 ed \u00e8 progettato per navigare in modo anonimo utilizzando gli strumenti di Tor. Tutte le connessioni, ad eccezione del traffico attraverso la rete Tor, sono bloccate di default da un filtro pacchetti. Per memorizzare i dati dell'utente in modalit\u00e0 di salvataggio tra i riavvii, viene applicata la crittografia. \u00c8 disponibile un'immagine iso per il download, in grado di operare in modalit\u00e0 Live, delle dimensioni di 1 GB.     <\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione sono state corrette tre vulnerabilit\u00e0 rilevate durante un audit di sicurezza esterno. Due problemi riguardano singole applicazioni e possono portare a de-anonimizzazione e tracciamento dell'attivit\u00e0 dell'utente. Un altro problema consente di modificare le impostazioni dello storage permanente. Per sfruttare queste vulnerabilit\u00e0, un attaccante deve accedere all'ambiente locale, ad esempio sfruttando una vulnerabilit\u00e0 non corretta in una delle applicazioni.         <\/p>\n<p>Tra le modifiche non correlate alla sicurezza:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Nell'applicazione Informazioni \u00e8 stato aggiunto un pulsante per controllare la disponibilit\u00e0 di aggiornamenti.  <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rilascio della distribuzione Tails 6.12\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0b5e7150626141916d92912a4fce768c.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la combinazione di tasti Ctrl+Alt+T per aprire l'emulatore di terminale.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiornate le versioni di Tor Browser 14.0.5 e Thunderbird 128.6.0esr.\n<li class=\"l\"> Supportata l'esecuzione di codice Python in modalit\u00e0 isolata.\n<li class=\"l\"> Risolto il problema del blocco dello schermo di accesso durante
