\u00c8 stato rilasciato PuTTY 0.83, un client per i protocolli SSH, Telnet, Rlogin e SUPDUP, dotato di un emulatore di terminale e compatibile con i sistemi Unix-like e Windows. I codici sorgente del progetto sono disponibili con licenza MIT. <\/p>\n

La nuova versione offre supporto per lo scambio di chiavi basato sull'algoritmo ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber), resistente agli attacchi su computer quantistici. ML-KEM utilizza metodi crittografici che si basano sulla risoluzione di problemi di teoria dei reticoli, con tempi di risoluzione equivalenti sia su computer classici che quantistici.
