A partire dall'aggiornamento 20250211, per le nuove installazioni di openSUSE Tumbleweed, SELinux viene proposto di default in modalit\u00e0 \"enforcing\". Le immagini di virtualizzazione di openSUSE Tumbleweed minimalVM saranno fornite di default con SELinux. <\/p>\n

Il supporto per AppArmor rimarr\u00e0 completamente attivo \u2014 nelle configurazioni gi\u00e0 esistenti continuer\u00e0 a essere utilizzato AppArmor, e nell'installer sar\u00e0 possibile selezionare l'opzione per attivare AppArmor nelle nuove installazioni. Per gli utenti i cui sistemi utilizzano AppArmor ma vogliono passare a SELinux, \u00e8 disponibile una guida alla migrazione. La promozione di SELinux \u00e8 motivata da una decisione precedentemente presa di ampliare l'uso di questo sistema di gestione degli accessi in SUSE e openSUSE, poich\u00e9 SELinux supera AppArmor in termini di funzionalit\u00e0 ed \u00e8 molto richiesto nei sistemi aziendali. SELinux \u00e8 utilizzato in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, mentre AppArmor \u00e8 impiegato in Ubuntu. <\/p>\n

AppArmor \u00e8 facile da configurare e lega i profili di accesso ai percorsi dei file. SELinux utilizza un linguaggio pi\u00f9 complesso e flessibile per descrivere le politiche di sicurezza, coprendo vari tipi di risorse e basandosi sul concetto di etichette e contesti di sicurezza.
