La modifica pi\u00f9 significativa nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata l'aggiunta all'utilit\u00e0 mkfs dell'opzione \u00ab\u2014compress\u00bb, che consente di utilizzare la compressione durante la generazione del file system con il riempimento del contenuto dalla directory specificata con i file (usando l'opzione \u00ab\u2014rootdir\u00bb).
