Firefox 115 \u00e8 l'ultima versione in grado di funzionare sui sistemi operativi Windows 7, 8 e 8.1, e macOS 10.12, 10.13 e 10.14. \u00c8 probabile che la vita utile della versione Firefox 115 non si limiti a settembre, poich\u00e9 nelle note di modifica si menziona che ad agosto sar\u00e0 discussa un'ulteriore estensione del supporto.    <\/p>\n<p> Secondo le statistiche di febbraio di Mozilla, il 7,8% degli utenti di Firefox continua a utilizzare Windows 7, nonostante la cessazione del supporto da parte di Microsoft per questo sistema operativo a partire da gennaio 2020. Sei mesi fa, questa percentuale era del 10,5%, un anno e mezzo fa era del 13,7%, e due anni e mezzo fa era del 19,1%. Su Google Chrome, il supporto per Windows 7 e Windows 8 \u00e8 stato interrotto a febbraio 2023, pertanto Firefox rimane l'unico browser significativo che supporta Windows 7\/8.      <\/p>\n<p>Si pu\u00f2 anche menzionare il rilascio correttivo di Firefox 135.0.1, in cui \u00e8 stata risolta una vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2025-1414) causata da problemi nella gestione della memoria. Questa vulnerabilit\u00e0 potrebbe potenzialmente portare all'esecuzione di codice malevolo aprendo pagine appositamente preparate.
